I've been working on some major world building lately and it's given me a real appreciation for the craft. It takes a lot of work to make a fictional world come alive. Mine is heavily based on real history and sometimes that's a blessing, sometimes that's a curse. I have to try and stick with how history "officially" unfolded. A while ago I was introduced to a lady who has done a LOT of world building. Michelle Franklin has been producing her Haanta Series for some time and has a wealth of stories. She's recently had them published and are available on Amazon. I got a chance to sample them. The main story revolves around a giant and a female military officer in a world that is partly Roman, partly Celtic in flavor. They're a little densely written for me but I do appreciate the hard work and dedication that went into creating this series. Check it out if you want to experience something new in Fantasy/Paranormal Romance.
